Winter illumination lighting in Otaru and Yoichi (11/1~)|Announcing the beginning of winter tourism in the archipelago

The illumination event "Yuki Monogatari" started in Otaru in 2013 and has been co-sponsored by the Otaru and Yoichi Tourism Associations since 2015. The "Blue Canal" will install 10,000 blue LEDs in the Otaru Canal. The "Wine Glass Tower" exhibit that expresses the city with 2,000 wine glasses (Canal Plaza Pavilion). At JR Otaru Station, there is an art exhibition of a glass workshop. In front of JR Yoichi Station, there is an "amber dream" that reminds me of whiskey. The lighting hours are sunset ~ 22:30 for "Blue Canal" and 16:00 ~ 22:00 for "Amber Dream" (17:00 ~ in February).

In addition to illuminations, there is a "Overlapping Stamp Rally" that goes around five locations in Otaru and Yoichi. A total of 6 times in December and January, such as a guided tour of Otaru at night.

On the first day, November 1 (Tuesday) 16:30 ~, the opening ceremony and lighting ceremony were held at the Otaru Canal for the first time in three years. There will be a gospel concert to liven up the atmosphere and 200 participants will be treated to hot cocoa.
