Hilton opens a sub-brand hotel near Toyama Station|Equipped with a valuable large public bath and sauna in the vicinity
On Wednesday, January 18, 2023, the Hilton named "DoubleTree by Hilton Toyama" opened near Toyama Station. The hotel is managed by Ikeda Hotel Management (Osaka), which has a business alliance with Hilton.

"DoubleTree by Hilton" is a four-star upscale hotel (luxury hotel) at Hilton. This is Hilton's first opening in Hokuriku. The location is a 3-minute walk from the Hokuriku Shinkansen and the city tram "Toyama Station (South Exit)". It is convenient to access sightseeing spots such as Toyama Castle Ruins Park, Toyama City Glass Art Museum, and Matsukawa where Masusushi store is located on foot or by tram.
There are a total of 201 rooms and 5 types. The size of the room is mainly 26 square meters. There are also premium (79 m²) and deluxe (52 m²) suites. On-site facilities include a dining bar, café, public bath, sauna and fitness. The breakfast buffet serves dishes using seafood and local specialties from Toyama.
There are few hotels around Toyama Station that are equipped with large public baths and saunas. Existing hotels include the locally-owned Manten Hotel and the national chain Dormy Inn.

The standard room rate (1 person) is 19,800 yen ~ with breakfast, 17,800 yen ~ for accommodation only. The price is currently variable (as of 1/19), and on February 1 (Wednesday), it is 15,800 yen with breakfast and 13,800 yen for accommodation only (check the official website).

The mayor of Toyama (center) also participated in the opening ribbon cutting. It seems that expectations are being raised by the local government.
