"Demon Demon Festival" will be held from February 2nd in the demon town of Fukuchiyama|Call to demon fans nationwide
Fukuchiyama City, Kyoto Prefecture has named February 2 "Demon Demon Day" as a pun on "02" (Oni), and from the same day until February 28 (Tuesday), the "Demon Demon Festival" will be held in various parts of the city and online.

Fukuchiyama is a town where the legend of the demon of Mt. Oeyama remains. The concept of the event is "Demons chased by Setsubun, gather!" On February 2nd, the "Oni Taku Special Edition Car" will be unveiled, wrapped with a representative work of demon paintings drawn by the late Toru Narita, the general art director of "Ultraman". The car is used for the pick-up service in the Oe area, and tourists can also ride (reservation).
In addition, the Demon Exchange Museum in Japan exhibits demon illustration contest works and quiz projects. Restaurants in the city offer gourmet dishes such as fried chicken and ramen, which are inspired by the spiciness of demons. There will be an exhibition of demon paintings drawn by children, and a Youtube video announcing the Okiri project of local comedian Chihara Junior. During the period, a total of 14 demon projects conceived by young craftsmen in the city will be implemented.


Fukuchiyama City said, "This is the third time that the festival has been planned in the wake of the success of Demon Slayer. I want demon fans all over the country to rush to it."
