Akita Prefecture "Omagari no Hanabi Spring Chapter" to be held on April 29|Advance ticket sales start at convenience stores from March 1

On Saturday, April 29, 2023, the "Omagari Fireworks Spring Chapter" will be held at Omagari Fireworks Park in Daisen City, Akita Prefecture. Paid bleachers will be on sale at convenience stores nationwide from Wednesday, March 1. The event was co-sponsored by the Omagari Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the city of Daisen.

About 8,000 fireworks will be launched between 19 o'clock ~ 21 o'clock. The main program is the "New Fireworks Collection 2023," in which fireworks developed by 20 fireworks artists belonging to fireworks companies in 12 prefectures are launched and compete for beauty. Fireworks planned by a Canadian fireworks company will be reproduced by fireworks companies in the prefecture in a collaboration project "Fireworks of the World: Fireworks in Japan".

 

Advance tickets are 6,000 yen for chair seats and 26,000 yen for table seats (up to 4 people), and are sold at major convenience stores nationwide. Same-day tickets are 7,000 yen for chair seats and 28,000 yen for table seats, and are sold at the reception booth at the venue. Parking lot is 2500 yen for 1 car.

 

The fireworks park in Omagari, the viewing venue, is located on the banks of the Omono River, a first-class river. Local access is a 30-minute walk from JR Omagari Station to the viewing venue. In the case of a car, there is a parking lot exclusively for paid bleachers ticket purchasers. In addition to this, parking lots are scattered between the sea at the station.

 

In addition to the nationally famous summer, the fireworks in Omagari were held four times a year, including spring, autumn, and winter, before Corona. The "New Fireworks Collection", which was the theme of winter during the Corona disaster, has been added to the spring and the volume has increased. In the future, it will be held three times a year, spring, summer, and autumn.
