Sakae Village, Nagano Prefecture|Superb scenery light in heavy snowfall area on an online tour|Learn about local cuisine and matagi

The Sakae Village Tourism Association in northeastern Nagano Prefecture will hold an online tour "Itabi Sakae Village Sightseeing Online Tour" on Sunday, July 4 at 13:30~15:45. The participation fee is 4,500 yen (tax included). Applications can be made through the dedicated application form by 4 p.m. on Wednesday, June 30. On the day of the event, we will use the online app ZOOM.

The tour consists of three parts. In the first part, Sakaemura's father talks about the spectacular scenery and sightseeing spots. In the second part, Sakae's mother teaches how to cook two local dishes in the village. In the third part, an active hunter talks about the Matagi culture and the dismantling of bears. The MC is Ai Kasui, who has been living in Sakae Village for 9 years and is the representative of the Sakae Village Experience Tour Project, "Sato Living Musubiya Marukete".

Contents of the local cuisine experience (Sakaemura Waku Waku Ryobo)

・ Anbo set (with anbo powder, anko, naba seasoning)
・ Miso soup set of bent bamboo and mackerel can (about 4 roots with skin, homemade miso, 1 can of mackerel), Genno Shokodokudami tea, 1 bottle of Shin-Etsu Natural Water, 1 bottle of Sakaemura tomato juice).

The tour was planned by the tourism association in response to the Corona disaster and the situation where it was not possible to attract customers. The second part, the local cuisine cooking experience, was the brainchild of the youngest girl staff member of the tourism association, and it was Sakae Village's first attempt.
