On March 20, 2023, the Japan Tourism Agency and the Tourism Industry Joint Proposal closed two official websites of the "Go To Travel Business" for travelers and businesses.
The Tourism Industry Joint Proposal is a secretariat consisting of the Japan Association of Travel Agents, other industry groups, and seven travel agencies.
