"Enjoy summer vacation in your hometown" campaign|Residents of Gifu and Toyama prefectures receive a 2,000 yen accommodation discount, etc.
From July 16 (Friday) ~ August 31 (Tuesday), Hida City, Gifu Prefecture will hold a "Local Summer Vacation Campaign" for residents of Gifu and Toyama prefectures to get discounts on accommodation facilities and experience programs in the city.
There are two campaigns: accommodation support and experiential tourism. It can be used by residents of Gifu and Toyama prefectures. For accommodation, if you use an accommodation facility that takes measures to prevent infection, you can get a discount of up to 2,000 yen per person per night, and if you are a Hida citizen, you can get a discount of up to 3,000 yen. For experiential tourism, half of the experience program fee provided by the tourist facility is discounted (up to 1,000 yen) per person or group.
The facilities covered by the campaign are currently being prepared to be released. In the future, it will be posted on Hida City's official tourism website "Hida Travel". Reservations can be made directly by users at each facility.
Unique Initiatives for Safe and Secure Hida Tourism
In conjunction with the campaign, Hida City has formulated its own measures to prevent new coronavirus infections. If an employee or guest of the accommodation facility feels even a little unwell, a test kit that can be used for an antigen test can be distributed to the accommodation facility immediately. In addition, ICDs (medical professionals with expertise in infection control) will be invited as lecturers to hold training sessions on corona infection control for lodging operators.
