Providing coupons worth up to 13,000 yen for staying in the hot spring town of Yamaga|Travel support revived in Kumamoto Prefecture

From September 1, 2023 (Friday), the Kumamoto Prefecture Yamaga Onsen Tourism Association and other organizations will offer up to 13,000 yen worth of "Yamaga Tourism Support Coupons" for a single trip to accommodations in Yamaga City.

Coupons will be distributed to guests staying at 30 eligible accommodations in Yamaga City, regardless of whether they are adults or children, for 5,000 yen or more per night, worth 2,000 yen on weekdays and 1,000 yen on holidays. You can also receive a coupon for up to 7 nights on a single trip. If you calculate 6 nights on weekdays and 1 night on holidays, you can receive a coupon of up to 13,000 yen.

Coupons can be used at more than 100 shops and facilities in the city, which are introduced on the official Yamaga City tourism website. It is not possible to pay for the room rate.

Yamaga City is located in the northern part of Kumamoto Prefecture and is a hot spring resort with a history of more than 1,000 years. The area is home to Yamaga Onsen, which is famous for its abundant and warm hot water, Hirayama Onsen, which has a high medical effect, Kikuka Onsen, which is popular with women, and Shikamoto Onsen, which spontaneously spouts hot water at 300 liters per minute.
