Mino City is a production area of Japanese paper, and the "Mino Washi Light Art Exhibition" is an annual autumn event. This year, in conjunction with the Pikmin smartphone app, Pikmin will appear throughout the old town. You can find special Pikmin at seven special spots in town, and Pikmin lights will be on display along with about 280 pieces of Japanese paper light art. Also, if you take a picture of an art work or a cityscape with an AR camera, Pikmin will appear in the photo. In addition, if you post your photos on social media, you can get exclusive stackers.
The event will be held from 10 a.m. ~ 9 p.m., and will start at 5 p.m. on October 8. The event venue is the sweltering streetscape and facilities of Mino City.
For local access, transfer from JR Gifu Station to Mino-Ota Station on the JR Takayama Main Line (25 minutes) and get off at Minoichi Station on the Nagaragawa Railway (30 minutes). It takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes from Nagoya to "Mino (Nakano Government Building)" by highway bus.

During the period, on Sunday, October 8 and Saturday, October 21, part of the townscape will become a pedestrian paradise.
The organizer, the Mino City Light Association, is promoting the collaboration with Pikmin as a commemorative project for the 30th anniversary of the Akari Art Exhibition.
