Castle EXPO 2023 will be held at Pacifico Yokohama (12/16 and 17)|Castles from all over the country will be brought together

On Saturday, December 16 and Sunday, December 17, 2023, Pacifico Yokohama North will hold the "Castle EXPO 2023," an event that introduces the charms of castles nationwide. The event will be organized by the Japan Castle Association, and 105 organizations will exhibit, the largest number ever.

The highlights of Castle EXPO 2023 will be the "Castle Tour Tourist Information Zone" and the "Castle Town Merchandise Sales Booth", where local governments with castles from all over Japan and companies selling castle goods will participate.
In the "Castle Tour Tourist Information Zone", you can enjoy the five castles designated as national treasures and castles in various places, and enjoy explanations by curators, local characters, and the hospitality of the warlords. At the "Castle Town Merchandise Sales Booth", goods, books, castle seals, and castle seal books will be sold.

In addition, there is a special exhibition "Drawn Castles, Wars, and Samurai" in which folding screens based on battle diagrams and warlords are exhibited. There will be a variety of castle contents such as castle seminars, "100 Famous Castles in Japan, 100 Famous Castles in Japan Panel Exhibition", stage events, and more.

After the closing of the first day, there will be a special concert by members of the Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra and lectures by historians as part of the Saturday night program.

The entrance fee is 2,000 yen for adults, 1,000 yen for elementary and junior high school students, and advance tickets are discounted by 300 yen each. The entrance ticket with the castle seal book is 4,000 yen (advance sale), the entrance ticket with the castle seal with NFT is 2,700 yen (advance sale), and preschoolers are free. The event will be held from 9:00~18:00 on the 16th (until 17:00 on the 17th). The Saturday Night Program will be held at 18:30~20:30 at Pacifico Yokohama Conference Center 1F Hall.
