"Ishikawa Traditional Crafts Fair 2024" will be held in Tokyo - 3 days of crafts in Ishikawa Prefecture shining
It has been announced that the "Ishikawa Traditional Crafts Fair 2024" will be held for three days from February 16 (Fri) ~ 18 (Sun), 2024 at the Tokyo International Forum B1 Gallery in Yurakucho . The organizer of the fair is the Ishikawa Prefecture Traditional Industries Joint Fair Executive Committee (Kanazawa Chamber of Commerce and Industry).

The theme of the fair, which will be held for the 29th time this year, is "Crafts are a part of our daily lives." It proposes to incorporate crafts into your daily life and enjoy them.
At the venue, a number of traditional crafts from Ishikawa Prefecture, such as Wajima paint, Kutani ware, and Yamanaka lacquerware, will be exhibited and sold. In addition, there will be a special exhibition "Living with Crafts", craft experience classes such as "Wajima Painting", a forum on "Ishikawa's Philosophy", and stage events, making it a three-day event full of crafts in Ishikawa Prefecture. During the exhibition, gifts will also be available for survey respondents on a first-come, first-served basis.

Admission to the venue is free, and participation in the craft experience class (2,000 yen ~) and forum (free) requires advance registration from the special website. Access to the venue is a 1-minute walk from JR Yurakucho Station and direct from the underground concourse on the B1F of Tokyo Metro Yurakucho Station.
The organizers say that "the craft producing areas affected by the Noto Peninsula earthquake will join forces to hold the event with the aim of reconstruction."
