Due to the impact of the Noto Peninsula earthquake, 22 ryokan (total number of rooms of about 1,300 rooms, capacity of about 6,600 people) in the area were forced to close, and the prospect of restoration is still difficult, as roads are divided and water supply is cut off. The amount of damage to buildings and facilities exceeded 100 billion yen, and all about 77,000 people who were scheduled to stay in January and February were canceled, resulting in a loss of about 2 billion yen in sales.
