The summer climb of Fuji begins on July 1st. Mountaineering reservations are available at Mt. Fuji Official Site You can follow it from the reservation system. After booking, you will pay the toll by credit card or QR code and you will receive an email with a QR code. On the day of the climb, you will be allowed to pass by holding the QR code over the reception terminal at the 5th station at the Yoshida Exit and wearing the wristband that will be distributed.

Reservations will be accepted until 23:59 the day before the climb, and payment for up to 100 people can be made in one representative process. In addition, the Mt. Fuji conservation cooperation fund of 1,000 yen, which is voluntarily paid by climbers, can also be settled at the same time. In addition, the number of advance reservation slots is 3,000 people per day, and 1,000 people are secured at the on-site reception on the day of the event.

In April this year, Yamanashi Prefecture announced that it would collect a toll of 2,000 yen from users of the Mt. Fuji Yoshida Route during this summer's Mt. Fuji climbing season (July 1 ~ September 10), limit the number of climbers per day to 4,000, and close the gate from 4 p.m. to 3 a.m. the next day.
These measures caused various problems last summer, such as overtourism by foreign visitors to Japan and an increase in the number of bullet climbers (night climbers) who do not reserve mountain huts.
