From September 1 (Wednesday) to October 31 (Sunday), the Kobe City Agriculture and Fisheries Division will hold the "2021 Autumn Kobe Food Fair" at about 50 restaurants and other establishments in the city that will offer special menus using autumn Kobe ingredients.

神戸市の神戸食材フェア

The fair is an initiative to advocate "Kobe, the food city" that nurtures Kobe's food culture. About 50 restaurants such as Japanese, Western, and Chinese food, bakeries, and sweets shops in the city participated. Each restaurant offers its own special menu. Participating restaurants and cuisines will be posted on a special website. Please note that special menu offerings vary depending on the participating restaurants.

There are three types of autumn flavors in Kobe: figs, hamo, and whitebait. Hyogo Prefecture is a major production area of "figs" in Japan, and Kobe City is close to the production area, so you can taste ripe "figs". Most of the "whitebait" and "ducks" caught around the Akashi Strait are landed in Kobe.
