For three days from December 3 (Tuesday) ~ December 5 (Thursday), 2024, the disaster area support event "Eat, Buy and Rebuild Support Satofuru Maimon Market" will be held at Inaribashi Square in front of Shibuya Stream. The organizer is the operator of the hometown tax payment site "Satofu".
At the disaster-stricken area support event, 21 municipalities in 12 prefectures from disaster-stricken areas throughout Japan, including Noto Town and Nanao City in Ishikawa Prefecture, which were damaged by the 2024 Noto Peninsula Earthquake, and Ibusuki City, Kagoshima Prefecture, which was affected by Typhoon No. 10 in Reiwa 6, will sell special products provided as thank-you gifts for hometown tax payment.
A tent booth and a food truck will be set up at the venue, and about 30 specialty products will be sold. The selling price is 200 yen ~ 1600 yen per item, and the kitchen car gourmet is 200 yen ~ 900 yen. Producers of specialty products were affected by the disaster, such as partial destruction of factories, power outages, and water outages, and faced a situation where manufacturing and purchasing were halted.
In addition, there will be panels introducing the special products of each municipality at the venue, and scanning the QR code will lead to a thank-you gift page, and you can also make a donation to your hometown tax. If you complete the payment of the hometown tax by December 31, you will be able to deduct income tax for the current year and resident tax for the following year.
The event will be held from 11:00~19:00 (ends at 18:00 on the last day). Access to the venue is directly connected to Exit C2 of Shibuya Station on private railways and subways, and a short walk from the New South Exit of JR Shibuya Station.
