The Sanriku Railway in Iwate Prefecture will operate a special train "2021 Autumn Premium Lunch Train" to enjoy a lunch of Sanriku's happiness in a tatami car on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays between October 23 (Sat) ~ November 28 (Sun), 2021.
The lunch menu is Miyako City's local gourmet bottle bowl Santetsu's original "Miyako specialty! Two-sword bottle don with iso soup" (2,500 yen), "Full of seafood!" with fresh Sanriku-mae ingredients! Special nigiri santetsu sushi with ara soup" (2,500 yen), fisherman's rice with sea urchin, salmon roe, abalone, scallops, etc. on top of rice "It's full of ingredients! There are three types of strawberry stewed bento and iso soup (1,500 yen). During the operation from "Rikuchu Yamada Station" to "Kamaishi Station", you can enjoy the experience of peeling scallops from Yamada Town along the line.
A total of 14 trains will operate during the period. The service section is about 92 km between "Miyako Station" ~ "Mori Station" (Ofunato). The operating time is "Miyako Station (departs at 11:05)" ~ "Mori Station (arrives at 13:55)" for a maximum of 2 hours and 50 minutes. Reservations must be made by 1 p.m. two days prior to the boarding date. The fare is the regular fare for the boarding section and the reserved seat fee. For example, "Miyako Station" → "Mori Station" are 2,310 yen one way and 300 yen for reserved seats. Distribution of commemorative boarding passes to users.
