The Izu Islands Kozushima Tourism Association has started recruiting participants today for the "Island Hopping and Starry Sky Viewing Tour ~New Year's Whole Island Tour with Islander Guides~ (3 days)". A total of five tours will be held in January next year.
The tour departs on weekdays 1/2, 1/14, and 1/21 (departure on Friday and return on Sunday), and weekends 1/9 and 1/16 (departure on Sunday and return on Tuesday). The itinerary departs from Takeshiba Pier (departs at 22:00) on the first day. [Day 2] Arrived at Kozushima in the morning (arrival at 10:00). Go around the island while visiting the island's historical sites and scenic spots (10 places). In the evening, an open-air bath by the sea, Kozushima Onsen. After dinner, we will have a stargazing trip with a villager guide.
Lunch during the tour period is sashimi, pickled rice bowl, fish curry, etc. at the restaurant. Dinner is a guest house with specialties such as golden snapper and Asaba dishes. Day 3: Check-out after breakfast (8:30). Take a stroll through the village and then go to the souvenir shop. After that, depart from Kozushima (depart at 10:30) and go to Tokyo Takeshiba Pier (arrive at 19:45).
