Otetsu Tabi and Eating Choku|"Eating Choku Otetsu Tabi" for students|Until March next year
Otetsutabi, which operates the matching site "Otetsutabi" that combines part-time agricultural jobs and travel, and Vivid Garden, which operates the direct-to-consumer mail order site "Tabechoku," announced that from April to March next year, they will hold an event called "Tabechoku Otetsutabi" at production sites nationwide where students learn about the charm of agriculture through part-time jobs.

The most recent plans are for producers who make branded asparagus from desalinization (Tara Town, Fujitsu District, Saga Prefecture), producers who practice animal welfare (Imari City, Saga Prefecture), rice farmers who have been around since the Edo period (Nomi Town, Ishikawa Prefecture), and producers who support the mango industry in Okinawa (Higashimura, Kunigami District, Okinawa Prefecture). The contents of the part-time job include agricultural work and shipping products. Each reward is different. The number of applicants is 1~2 people from each production area.
"Eat Choku Otetsutabi" is a project that is part of the consortium for disseminating the appeal of agriculture, which was established with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry.
In response to the current situation of students, Otetsubi said, "The number of online classes is increasing, and experiential learning and offline meeting places are being lost," and "60% of service registrants are interested in agriculture, but they do not have the opportunity to participate casually." and so on.
