Sakurayama Hachimangu Shrine in Takayama City, Gifu Prefecture will hold the "Sakurayama Wind Chime Festival" from July 23 (Sat) ~ August 21 (Sun) to decorate the Ema Hall with wind chimes. The event was organized by the Takayama City Tourism Liaison Council and the Nippon Summer Vacation Executive Committee.

The festival is a shrine that represents Hida Takayama, Sakurayama Hachimangu In addition to setting up about 2,000 wind chime shelves in the Ema Hall to create a space, you can sell votive wind chimes and limited red seals, and you can dedicate your wishes to wind chime strips. On Saturdays and Sundays during the period, cut flowers float in the water shed.
Every Saturday night from Saturday, July 30, the precincts and wind chime shelves will be lit up. On Saturday, July 30 and Saturday, August 13, the lanterns of the four festival stalls at the Takayama Festival Yatai Kaikan were lit as a production of the Takayama Festival stall and evening festival. From 8 p.m., there will be live performances of original songs in gagaku, and priestesses will perform special dances. Admission to the Takayama Festival stalls and evening festivals is 1,000 yen for adults, 600 yen for high school students, and 500 yen for elementary and junior high school students.
The festival will be held for the ninth time this year under the theme of "Summer Vacation in Japan in Hida Takayama." This is the second time that wind chimes have been used for spatial production, following last year's event.
