In Kami City, in the eastern part of Kochi Prefecture, about 88% of the total area is forested, and giant trees such as cedar, which are some of the best in the prefecture, grow naturally. In the sightseeing hire plan, we pick up 16 huge trees where you can go sightseeing. The cedars of "Betsuyaku", "Jinnamiya Shrine", "Dainichiji", "Iwamoto Shrine", and "Kōshikata Shrine" have a trunk circumference of more than 8 m.

In the sightseeing hire plan, you will visit the giant trees at three locations in the city. The departure and arrival points (number of huge trees) are "JR Shikoku Tosayamada Station" (6 trains), "JR Shikoku Bus Mirabu Station" (7 lines), and "Municipal Bus Ōtochi Station" (3 lines). Along the way, the driver will be in charge of guiding you.

The duration is 3 hours ~ 3 hours 30 minutes (depending on the course). The participation fee is 12,400 yen for one taxi with a capacity of 4 people (Mirabu Station + 100 yen), and 16,800 yen for one jumbo taxi with a capacity of 9 people (+200 yen). To apply, please contact the Kami City Tourism Association (9 a.m. ~ 6 p.m.) or six cooperating taxi companies in the city.
