Opened "FabCafe Fuji" in Fujiyoshida at the foot of Mt. Fuji (11/6)|Incorporating the textile industry and developing creativity
Design-related Loftwork will open "FabCafe Fuji" in Fujiyoshida City, Yamanashi Prefecture on Sunday, November 6th. It is operated by a local company, DOSO Co., Ltd.

This is the fifth café in Japan, following Tokyo, Kyoto, Hida, and Nagoya. This time, the concept is a creative community centered on textiles in Fujiyoshida City, a textile production area. It is in a great position overlooking Mt. Fuji, and in addition to the café, there is a book corner related to art and architecture. There is a digital printing machine experience space and a co-working space. The café menu is ethical. Homemade sausages, spiced curry, lasagna, vegetarian and more. Drinks are offered for 550 yen ~ and food is around 1,100 yen. There are 20 seats. To commemorate the opening, 11/5~13, fabric will be on special display.
Local access is about 2 hours by highway bus from Shinjuku, Shibuya, and Tokyo stations. It is about a 20-minute walk from each station of Chuo Doshitayoshida or Mt. Fuji. A 5-minute walk from Shimoyoshida Station on the Fujikyuko Line.
Business hours are 8:00~17:00 (closed on Tuesdays).
Fujiyoshida is a land where the textile industry has flourished for more than 1,000 years, taking advantage of the underground water of Mt. Fuji. DOSO Co., Ltd., which operates the facility, operates accommodation facilities in the city, including the development of the renovation business of vacant rooms.
