Sanriku Railway|Goat wrapping train to operate from August 12th|Collaboration with a pastry shop

From Thursday, August 12, the Sanriku Railway in Iwate Prefecture will start operating a wrapping train with the popular character "Yvonne the Goat" in collaboration with Growth Partners, which operates a pastry shop in front of Miyako Station. The service is scheduled to run for one year.

The wrapping train was developed by Growth, a dairy manufacturer in Miyako City and the Happiness Dairy Group, which is in charge of food distribution, with the aim of reviving Miyako City by gathering support from all over the country through crowdfunding. A cute red car with the character "Yvonne the Goat" from the goat milk pastry shop "Patisserie de Chèvre" operated in front of Miyako Station.

 

On August 12, a departure ceremony will be held at Miyako Station from 11:15. After that, it will depart from Miyako Station at 11:30 ~ Taro Station ~ arrive at Miyako Station at 12:30. In the first operation, a sweets car will operate with all-you-can-eat cakes from a confectionery specialty store for 2 hours. In addition, the wrapping train operates on a regular basis. If you want to be sure to get on the train, you need to check with the railway company.

Sanriku Railway said, "We are glad that the train has been decided to operate with the cooperation of Growth, and it is a cute train that has never been seen before, and it is likely that not only railway fans but also children and women will like it." I have high hopes.
