Fukui Prefecture and Fukui Shimbun will be recruiting Hitokoto Daikiri four times between November 20 (Sun) ~ January 1 (Sun) with a photo related to the opening of the Hokuriku Shinkansen Fukui-Tsuruga in the spring of 2024.
The recruitment is supervised by Toru Dozen (Long Coat Daddy), a comedian from Fukui Prefecture.
The photographs of the theme were published in the pages of the Fukui Shimbun. We solicited "free and humorous hitokoto", and the best works (40 people) were selected by Mr. Domae's judging. 4 Grand Prize winners (1 person per theme) will receive a travel voucher of 50,000 yen, 12 winners of the Excellence Prize (3 winners of each theme) will receive an Amazon gift certificate of 10,000 yen, 12 winners (3 winners of each theme) will receive prefectural rice, and 12 winners (3 winners of each theme) will receive prefectural beef. The best works will be announced in mid-March in the Fukui Shimbun newspaper and online edition.
