Hakone Ropeway holds regular construction period backyard tour for the first time|See the scenery of Mt. Fuji
On Saturday, February 18, 2023, the Hakone Tozan Railway will hold the "Hakone Ropeway Regular Construction Period Backyard Tour" for the first time.
This is the first backyard tour since the opening of the Hakone Ropeway. The tour includes a visit to the gondola inspection site at Hayunyama Station, the regular construction site and operation command post at Owakudani Station, and the tension pulley. After changing the running rail connection (point operation) and completing the operation, you can observe the gondola housing up close. Quizzes where you can get original goods, etc. The time is 13:30~17:15.
The participation fee is 2,500 yen for adults and 1,500 yen for elementary school students. Round-trip fare for the tour segment is included. Preschoolers are not allowed to participate. The number of applicants is limited to 20. Applications will be accepted from 10:00 a.m. on Friday, February 3, 2023 at the Hakone Tozan Train online store.
