Summer tradition "Nagaragawa Firewood Noh"|Crowdfunding to be held this summer

The Culture and Arts Division of Gifu City Hall is crowdfunding until Monday, August 16 for the summer tradition "Nagaragawa Firewood Noh" (9/11). The target amount is 1 million yen, and it will be used for online live distribution of performances and corona countermeasure expenses.

長良川薪能

The Nagaragawa firewood program began in Showa 61 and is scheduled to be held for the 34th time this year. Last year, it was canceled due to the influence of the new corona. In the past, performances were funded by city taxes and corporate sponsorship, but this summer's event will cost operating costs for a new way of life.

Donations can be made on the hometown tax payment site "Furusato Choice", payment slips, or cash (at the counter). If a donor applies to watch the performance (capacity is scheduled to be 1,300 people), the bleachers will be given priority. Applications for viewing will be announced on the website in mid-July. The online live streaming will be announced when it is ready.
