The first one-day limited "dog-only cruise" on the Hakone pirate ship|Boarding with your dog only on a leash regardless of breed

On Saturday, April 8, 2023, Hakone Sightseeing Boat, which operates sightseeing boats on Lake Ashi in Kanagawa Prefecture, will operate a "dog-only cruise". Tickets will go on sale from Friday, March 24.

The boarding time is about 40 minutes, departing from Hakone Town Port at 15:15 and arriving at the same port at 15:55. If you wear a leash when you board, you can walk freely on the deck, cabin, and pier of the pirate ship with your dog.

 

The maximum number of applicants is about 30 groups, and the boarding fee is 1,520 yen for adults and 760 yen for children. Your dog will get a free treat regardless of breed. When using a seat, it is mandatory to bring a rug. In addition, as a condition of boarding, it is necessary to obtain a rabies vaccine certificate, cooperate with questionnaires, and comply with various safety precautions.
