Aso Kumamoto Airport launches "empty-handed sightseeing service"|Same-day luggage delivery to the accommodation facility

Yamato Transport and Kyushu Sanko Bus Co., Ltd. have started a demonstration experiment of the "Hands-Free Tourism Service" to coincide with the opening of the new passenger terminal building at Aso Kumamoto Airport (March 23, 2023).

The "Hands-Free Tourism Service" is a service that delivers users' baggage from Aso Kumamoto Airport to accommodations in Kumamoto City and Aso City on the same day, and will be implemented until March 31 (Sunday) next year.
To use the service, complete the procedure at the Yamato Transport counter at the airport by 13 o'clock on the day of the event. Luggage is transported by bus to Sakuramachi Bus Terminal or JR Aso Station in Kumamoto City, where Yamato Transport collects and delivers it to the accommodation. The price is 830 yen ~ 2740 yen for 60 size and 2740 yen for 200 size.

The empty-handed sightseeing service is an initiative to consolidate passenger cargo by loading luggage in the empty space of a general bus. Kyushu Sanko Bus is focusing on regional revitalization, such as consolidating passenger cargo with specialty products and holding marches.
