"Fujiya Hotel Hakone Hotel" runs through the times and offers a 100th anniversary plan
On Thursday, June 15, 2023, Fujiya Hotel Lakeview Annex Hakone Hotel celebrated its 100th anniversary by offering special plans such as accommodations, dinners, and sweets.

The hotel originated from the traveling basket "Hafuya" founded in the Edo period, and was founded as the Hakone Hotel in June 1923 (Taisho 12). It was completely destroyed by the Great Kanto Earthquake in September of the same year. After being completely destroyed again by the Kitaizu earthquake in 1930 (Showa 5), it was rebuilt and continues to the present.
The 100th anniversary plan includes a dinner (16,000 yen) that combines Japanese and French cuisine using local ingredients at the French restaurant "Il Miragio", as well as monthly sweets that change according to the season in the lounge. Cocktails inspired by Lake Ashi (1600 yen) are offered at the bar.

For accommodation (1 night and 2 days), a commemorative dinner, late check-out (12 o'clock), and a special plan (32500 yen ~) with an admission ticket to the Hakone Ekiden Museum are available. There are also classical performances on the anniversary of the founding and every Saturday in June, as well as special wedding plans.
