Hotel Senjojiki, a mountain resort in Komagane City, Nagano Prefecture, will open its terrace "SO・RA・TO・KI" on Thursday, April 20, 2023.

Hotel Senjojiki is located at the summit station of the Komagatake ropeway in the Central Alps at an altitude of 2612m, which is said to be the highest point in Japan. In January of this year, the indoor facilities were pre-opened, with an outdoor terrace and an indoor restaurant and lounge. This time, the ground will open in the season when the terrace can be used.

The name of the terrace to be opened was decided from 547 public submissions to be "SO-RA-TO-KI", which means a place where you can feel space and nature, and the site area is about 520 square meters. It overlooks the Senjoshiki Karl, known as the dynamic mountainous terrain of the Central Alps.

The pre-opening "2612 Cafe & Restaurant" is a room that resembles a mountain hut, overlooking the Central Alps such as Mt. Hoken (2931m) from a large window, and serves homemade curry, omelet rice, and coffee made with melted snow. Overlooking Mt. Fuji, the Southern Alps, and Komagane City, "Lounge~2612" can be reserved for a fee (1~15 people) and is open to hotel guests free of charge at night.
