Opened a one-day hot spring facility "Servant no Yu" in Shimo-Onsen Town|Perfect for a GW day trip
On Friday, April 28, 2023, Minobu Town, Yamanashi Prefecture, opened a day-trip hot spring facility, "Takeda Shingenko Kakushiyu no Sato Healthy Spa Sun Road Shimobe-no-yu" near Shimo-Onsen Station.

With a history of more than 1,200 years, Shimo-Onsen Village is a famous hot spring where Takeda Shingen is known to have healed the wounds of battle. The facility has two floors. On the first floor, there is a large public bath with an open-air bath, a restaurant, and a rest room. There is a wood-heavy gym and studio on the second floor. The hot water in the bath draws from 49.4 degrees Celsius and 20.9 degrees Celsius, and the indoor bath is lukewarm, a high hot spring flowing from the source, a walking bath, a cold bath, and a sauna. In the open-air outdoor bath, there is a rock bath, an air bubble bath, and a sleeping bath. The large sauna offers Finnish-style "Louryu". In addition, there is a free foot bath on the outdoor deck.
The bathing fee is 930 yen for adults, 380 yen for children (separate fee for residents of the town), and 150 yen for bathing tax. Local access is a 1-minute walk from Shimo-Onsen Station on the JR Minobu Line and a 5-minute walk from Shimo-Onsen Hayakawa IC on the Chubu Transverse Expressway.


Minobu Town advertises that "it is a facility that aims to improve the health of the townspeople, but tourists are also welcome, and we want you to spend a relaxing and peaceful time in a famous hot spring rich in nature in the mountains."
