Vacation Village Rikuchu Miyako starts selling accommodation plans for the 1st anniversary of Miyako Umineko Maru
The resort hotel "Kyukyumura Rikuchu Miyako" in Miyako City, Iwate Prefecture, will sell accommodation plans to commemorate the first anniversary of the launch of the sightseeing boat "Miyako Umineko Maru" from May 8 (Monday) to September 30 (Saturday), 2023.
The name is "Miyako Umineko Maru" 1st anniversary of its inauguration! With the Seaside Buffet accommodation plan with boarding ticket & Umineko bread, the price for 1 night and 2 days (with 2 meals) on weekdays is 13,700 yen ~ for adults.
"Umineko bread" is manufactured by SELP Wakatake, an employment support office for people with disabilities in the city. It's a delicious bread for people mixed with seaweed, and it's a local sister's company The illustrated package is also popular.
The Miyako Umineko Maru entered service in July 2022 to succeed the famous Rikuchu Maru, which closed its 58-year history in January 2021, and in April of this year, the number of passengers exceeded 25,000, regaining the liveliness of the region.
Rikuchu Miyako is located on the coastline of Sanriku Fuko National Park. From the observation deck of the site, you can see the sunrise over Miyako, the easternmost point of Honshu.
