Hot Summer: Cool off with Fuji's Spring Water "Mishima, City of Water, Summer Sanpo Trip" campaign held

The Tourism Association of Mishima City, Shizuoka Prefecture will hold a summer tourism campaign "Mishima, City of Water, Summer Sanpo Trip" from July 1 (Sat) ~ August 31 (Thu), 2023.

Mishima City is dotted with "foot water points" where you can soak your feet and cool off in streams and parks where the spring water of Mt. Fuji flows. In the campaign, you will be provided with a booklet "#てくてくみしまマップ" to visit the footwater points and a "washcloth" printed with Mishima's characteristics that can be used to wipe your feet. There are five target ashimizu points (Shirataki Park, Kiriya no Michi, Onari River, Genbei River, and Mitsuishi Shrine), which can be accessed on foot from JR Mishima Station.

In addition, if you post about your Amizu points on Twitter or Instagram with a "#てくてくみしま", three people will be selected by lottery to win a "Mishima Snack Eating Ticket" (worth 5,500 yen).

To participate in the "Mishima City, City of Water, Summer Sanpo Trip" campaign, you can get a "#てくてくマップ" and "washcloth" (the first 1,000 people) at five facilities, including the Mishima Tourist Information Center in front of JR Mishima Station and the Izu Collection souvenir shop.

The Mishima City Tourism Association says, "This is the third year of the campaign, and Mishima's original washcloths are very popular with women because they are cute.
