A must-see for whiskey lovers, "Komoro Distillery Visitor Center" is now available for reservations|To disseminate a new Japanese whisky
On Sunday, July 23, 2023, the Komoro Distillery Visitor Center, an experiential whisky distillery, will open on the outskirts of Komoro City, Nagano Prefecture. Reservations for the event began on Friday, June 30.

The Komoro Distillery is characterized by its glass and wood architecture, and is located 800 meters from the source of water flowing from Mt. Asama, which is an ideal environment for whisky production. In addition, Taiwanese and world-renowned distiller and blender Ian Chang will participate in the production of a new Japanese whisky. The facility has a bar and shop on the first floor and a whiskey school on the second floor. It is a facility where not only whiskey lovers, but also beginners can enjoy the whiskey experience.
Reservations for admission can be made at the Visitor Space and the Whisky Academy on the official Komoro Distillery website. Local access is about 10 minutes by taxi from Komoro Station on the Shinano Railway, and about 25 minutes by taxi from Sakudaira Station on the Hokuriku Shinkansen.
