Spectacular photo tour around the rugged low mountains in Tsumagoi Village|Enjoy nature and history, and finally hot springs
The Tourism Association of Tsumagoi Village, Gunma Prefecture will hold a "Tsumagoi × Mountain Day on Friday, August 11, 2023, Mountain Day, a photo tour of mountains and history, a scenic spot to visit with a geoguide".

The photo tour will be guided by the Mt. Asama Geoguide, and you will enjoy low-mountain climbing such as the Hair Mu Pass, Mt. Gables, and the ruins of the Ogushi Mine. Stroll through the historic mine ruins in a spectacular spot with wild nature, take photos of the scenery, and after descending the mountain, relax at the famous Manza Onsen. The course route is 2 km to Mt. Gables, the cumulative elevation is 197 m, and the walk around the ruins of the Ogushi Mine takes less than 1 hour.
The time schedule is to meet at the Tsumagoi Village Tourist Information Center at 7:00, travel by bus, and arrive at the Haganashi Pass at 8:30. After climbing Mt. Gables and strolling around the ruins of the Ogushi Mine, take a bath at Manza Onsen at 13:00. Return to the departure point at 15:30 and dismiss.
The participation fee is 4,000 yen for adults and 3,000 yen for children, and guests staying at Manza Onsen get a 500 yen discount. Guide, lunch, hot spring day trip (with towels), insurance, souvenirs, and environmental conservation fees included. The number of participants is 1~15 people. Participants should prepare water (about 1L), towels, plastic bags, hiking boots, backpacks, warm clothing, hats, and comfortable walking clothes.
