Children's only summer vacation "Space Camp" held|To create interest in space development in Taiki Town, Hokkaido

Taiki Town is home to the Hokkaido Spaceport, Asia's first spaceport open to the private sector, and is known as the forefront of the private space business. At the Space Camp, visitors will be able to tour the rocket manufacturing plant and launch site, and JAXA's aerospace test site will also be held on the adjacent runway, making use of what they have learned on the airstrip to launch a PET bottle rocket. On Sunday, August 13, the maximum day of the Perseid meteor shower will coincide, giving you the chance to observe the meteor shower.

The participation fee is 68,500 yen for elementary school students and 74,500 yen for junior high school students, with a capacity of 20 people. The price includes the experience fee, 3 nights (hot spring facilities), 10 meals, and insurance. To apply for participation, please visit the Tom Sawyer Club page for Japan Travel Trip. Participants arrived in Taikicho by private bus or taxi from Obihiro Station or Obihiro Airport. The program director will take care of the child on-site.
