Direct bus service from Nagoya Station to Higashihirobo, Fukui Prefecture started|Convenient for sightseeing in the Awara and Sakai areas

JR Tokai Bus will operate a direct bus "Awara ★ Higashihirobo Mikuni-go" from Nagoya Station to Awara City and Sakai City in Fukui Prefecture on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays from July 22 (Sun) ~ November 26 (Sun), 2023.

JR Tokai Bus will operate the "Awara ★ Higashihirobo Mikuni-go" direct bus from Nagoya Station to Awara City and Sakai City in Fukui Prefecture on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays from Sunday, July 22, 2023 to Sunday, November 26, 2023.

 

You can take a direct bus from Nagoya Station to Awara City and Sakai City, and there are stops at major tourist destinations. The operating routes are Nagoya Station (departs at 8:00), → Awara-Yunomachi Station→ Mikuni Station→ Mikuni Ocean Resort & Hotel→ Higashihirobo→ Echizen Matsushima Aquarium→ Vacation Village Echizen Mikuni (arrives at 14:30). From the same stop, the train departs at 15:00 and returns to Nagoya Station, arriving at 19:20. There is one round trip per day, and the one-way fare is 3,500 yen for adults and 1,750 yen for children. Tickets can be purchased by phone or at the counter, as well as on the highway bus net.

 

This bus is a demonstration operation conducted by JR Tokai Bus as a subsidized project in Awara City and Sakai City. In the demonstration last winter, there were many users living in Nagoya, and the purpose is to strengthen transportation capacity.
In addition, when the JR conventional line is transferred to Sector 3 in March 2024 with the extension of the Hokuriku Shinkansen to Tsuruga Station in Fukui Prefecture, it will be necessary to transfer at Tsuruga Station to move to Awara City and Sakai City when using the route bus from Nagoya Station to Fukui Station.
