The theme of the bamboo forest illumination is "Summer Night". Wakayama Farm, where you can go sightseeing, has a walking course surrounded by bamboo forests. The bamboo forest illumination course has lighting that responds to music and surprise productions at the waterside and in the square.

Admission after sunset is 1,500 yen for adults and 750 yen for children. If you enter with the admission fee during normal hours (500 yen for adults, 250 yen for children) and stay at the lighting show, you will need to pay an additional fee (adult + 1,000 yen, child + 500 yen). The park closes at 21:00.

From 18:00 on Thursday, July 22, a lighting ceremony will be held in conjunction with the Minna no Souto Project, in which bamboo lights will be lit simultaneously in 47 prefectures nationwide. On that day, bamboo lights will be lit at a live jazz concert or a workshop on another day. Admission is 3,000 yen for adults and 2,500 yen for children.
