Omuta City sells premium ticket "Omuta Evening Sickness Ticket"|World Heritage Site Miike Port "Light Route" PR
Omuta City, Fukuoka Prefecture will sell the "Omuta Evening Sickness Ticket," a premium ticket that can be used at restaurants and accommodations in the city, for those who visit the city in November and January for the purpose of sightseeing in the "Light Route" of Miike Port in November and January 2023 (Friday) ~ January 31, 2024 (Wednesday).
Premium tickets can be purchased for 2,000 yen and can be used at participating stores for 3,000 yen. It is sold in booklet format, and in addition to 3,000 yen worth of tickets (1,000 yen x 2 tickets, 500 yen x 2 tickets), restaurant and event information are also posted. The target stores are restaurants (34 stores), accommodation facilities (3 facilities), and taxis (6 companies) in Omuta City. Booklet sales will be held at Omuta Kanko Plaza and Miike Port Observatory (November 16~26, late January). The number of copies sold is limited to 1,400. Tickets can only be purchased up to two tickets per person during the period, and cannot be refunded or used in conjunction with other coupons.
Currently, Omuta City is attracting attention as a photo spot for Miike Port, which was registered as a World Heritage Site "Heritage of the Industrial Revolution of Meiji Japan" in 2015, and actively promotes the spectacular view of the sunset that appears in November and January.
