A man who rents a car in Miyakojima drives a luxury car into the sea and takes a photo

At the famous "Sawada no Hama" on Miyakojima Island in Okinawa Prefecture, a man who uses a luxury rental car drove a luxury car into the sea and took a photo. Videos of this act are circulating on social media.
The damage occurred on September 26, when a man who was a rental car passenger rented a car in the morning and returned it in the evening, but left the place without reporting that the car had been put in the sea.
The owner found out on the 27th, the day after the rental car was returned, and checked the video taken by a third party. In the video, a jeep Wrangler luxury car was put into the water, and a man or woman was seen posing on the roof of the car, and a man or woman looking up at it for a photo. According to the car rental shop's records, the car was rented by a couple of men, and it is not known who else was.
The owner subsequently tried to contact the man, but was unable to do so at all, so he is currently consulting a lawyer. When I asked the rental car shop about the damage to the car, they said, "We are currently in the process of servicing it, but the parts of the car are vulnerable to seawater, and in the future, rust and defects may occur, which may reduce the value or worse, even scrap the car."
The other day, there was an unfortunate act of driving into the sea with our rental car.

Driving into the sea in this way can lead to injuries and environmental destruction. In addition, car parts are vulnerable to seawater and require cleaning and maintenance... Please refrain from dangerous use for the purpose of looking good on SNS.
