Miyazaki Prefecture is distributing coupons of 3,000 yen on weekdays and 2,000 yen on holidays per night that can be used from October 26, 2023 (Thursday) ~ February 1, 2024 (Thursday) as the "Welcome Miyazaki Campaign". The campaign is Miyazaki Prefecture's own travel support with a budget of 700 million yen.
To use the campaign, you will receive a coupon that can be used from October 26 (Thursday) if you make a reservation directly at an eligible accommodation facility in Miyazaki Prefecture or make a reservation for an eligible accommodation plan by January 31 (Wednesday) through a travel agency or OTA.
The coupon can be used for up to 7 nights per trip and is worth up to 20,000 yen. At check-in, you will be given a paper coupon mount with a QR code, and you can use the app "region PAY" or paper as it is. Coupons can be used at restaurants and souvenir shops in the prefecture. It is not available on December 29 (Friday) ~ January 3 (Wednesday) during the year-end and New Year holidays.
In Miyazaki Prefecture, the night kagura season is usually celebrated in Takachiho Town from mid-November every year. The town said, "We are currently tallying the schedules for each district, and by the end of this week, schedule (as of 10/17)." In addition, the "50th Anniversary Dunlop Phoenix Tournament" will be held in Miyazaki City from November 12, in which professional golfer Matsuyama will also participate.
