Christmas Market 2023 to be held in Kochi City|Collaboration with year-end tuna direct sales market
In Kochi City, the Christmas event "Christmas Market 2023 in Kochi" will be held at Kochi City Central Park from December 15 (Fri) ~ 25 (Mon), 2023.
The Christmas market features Santa and reindeer decorations, a 10-meter-high illumination tower, and stage attractions. The wooden stalls sell Christmas dishes, mulled wine, and miscellaneous goods made with Kochi ingredients. In addition, on Saturday, December 23 and Sunday, December 24, a "Tuna Direct Sales Market" will be held.
The event is held from 17:00~21:30 on weekdays and 11:00~21:30 on Saturdays and Sundays. The lights start at 17:00. The tuna direct sales market is sold out from 9:00 a.m. (numbered tickets are distributed from 7:30 a.m.).
The Christmas market was held for the first time last year and for the second time this year. It is based on traditional European Christmas events.
The tuna market, which has been running for more than 40 years, started collaborating with the Christmas market last year. In early December, Atlantic tuna caught at Shimizu Port in Shizuoka Prefecture will be sold at a great price.
