Japan Travel Proposes Environmentally Friendly Travel with "Eco Travel Connection Kumamoto" - Limited sales in Kyushu
From Monday, December 18, 2023, Japan Travel Agency has started offering "eco Travel Connection Kumamoto," an accommodation reservation plan for electric vehicle (EV) users, from its travel brand "Red Balloon" at stores and partner stores in the Kyushu area.
This itinerary aims to provide EV travelers with an experience that deepens their understanding of environmental conservation and local culture in Kumamoto Prefecture. The target accommodations are five facilities equipped with EV charging facilities in the Aso and Kumamoto City areas, and the brochure also lists EV charging spots in the prefecture. In addition, content related to environmental learning, such as Aso's eco-travel model course, is introduced, and you can receive discounts and gifts if you stop by at six designated restaurants and hot spring facilities.
Reservations are accepted from December 18, 2023 ~ March 31, 2024 at Japan Travel stores and partner retailers in the Kyushu area. However, this itinerary does not include transportation plans to Kumamoto Prefecture.
Japan Travel Agency explains, "This is the first attempt to incorporate the use of EVs, and we are considering expanding to other areas in the future."
