In Hatsushima Island in Atami City, the annual gourmet event "Hatsushima Fishermen's Bowl Battle" will be held every spring from February 10 (Sat) ~ March 10 (Sun), 2024. It is sponsored by a local business association and supported by Fujikyuko, which operates the ferry.

初島の丼メニュー

Every year in early spring on the warm island of Hatsushima, the "Hatsushima Fishermen's Bowl Battle" serves seasonal rice bowls made with local fish such as medina caught in the morning and Ashitaba, a vegetable native to Izu, at 13 stores run by fishermen on Hatsushima Island and at the restaurant of PICA Hatsushima, a resort facility.

At each participating restaurant, you can enjoy a bowl of rice bowl at a fixed price, and a set of round-trip boarding tickets and rice bowl meal tickets from Atami Port and Hatsushima will be offered for 3,850 yen (3,90 yen on the day) for adults and 2,730 yen for children (2,800 yen at the door). In addition, an Asian Garden admission ticket set is also available. Same-day tickets can be purchased at the Hatsushima route boarding window at Atami Port, and advance tickets can be purchased from the special website.

The business hours of each participating store are around 11:00~15:00.

Hatsushima can be reached in just 30 minutes from Atami Port, and you can enjoy views of Mt. Fuji and Oshima during the boat trip. On the island, four types of cherry blossoms, including Atami cherry blossoms and Kawazu cherry blossoms, will be in full bloom during the event. In addition, Hatsushima is the birthplace of lemon cultivation, and since last summer, there has been a huge lemon photo spot and a yellow staircase. Set up I will.
