In this support, Airbnb's non-profit organization "Airbnb.org" will work with host communities in Ishikawa Prefecture to provide private lodging facilities as secondary shelters for disaster victims who are currently staying in primary evacuation centers or tier 1.5 evacuation centers. Matching victims who wish to provide assistance with private lodging facilities will be handled by a private organization in cooperation with Ishikawa Prefecture.

The cost of accommodation will be borne by the Airbnb.org, and the affected people can use the private lodging facility for up to 29 nights free of charge. In addition, "Airbnb.org" is considering the possibility of responding to short-term stays from primary evacuation centers to private lodging facilities in Ishikawa Prefecture. To apply, please contact the Ishikawa Prefecture Secondary Evacuation Center/Tier 1.5 Evacuation Center Management Office (0120-266-755).

The person in charge of Ishikawa Prefecture said, "This initiative is Airbnb's own support (not the framework of the national disaster support system)." In addition, there are no cases where major domestic travel agencies have provided free accommodation facilities to victims of the Noto Peninsula earthquake with their own budgets.
