The Shinminato Fishing Port, located next to the Shinminato Fishing Port in Imizu City, was damaged by the Noto Peninsula earthquake on New Year's Day due to liquefaction of its facilities and large parking lot, making it impossible to use its water supply. Since the earthquake, restoration work has been underway, and 7 of the 11 stores currently in the facility have resumed operations. Seafood, specialty products, alcoholic beverages, sushi, and ramen shops welcome customers. Registration for the facility's popular "Afternoon Visit" started on Monday, March 4.

The seafood restaurant "Itsukitotei", where you can enjoy seafood caught in the morning at the Shinminato Fishing Port next to the facility, is scheduled to reopen in mid-March, but it depends on the restoration of water and gas.

For the time being, business hours will be shortened to 9:00~15:00.

A market official said, "We are glad that we were able to reopen this time because there were many people who came out during the closure. We hope to attract more visitors with the Hokuriku discount from the 16th."
