The Japan Tourism Agency completely renews its official website on its 15th anniversary|Universal design adopted
To commemorate the 15th anniversary of its establishment in 2023, the Japan Tourism Agency renewed its website on the evening of March 21, 2024. The site maintenance was originally scheduled for 15:00~21:00, but after a slight delay, the new site was released after 22:00. On the renovated site, the large rotating slide banner that used to exist has been removed, and instead a selection button for "tourism officials" or "the general public" and a "comprehensive menu" such as recruitment information, tourism policy, and organizational information have been installed. In addition, a "Search by keyword" column has been added to the top page, making it easier to access related content through the search window and featured keywords.
The basic content of the site remains the same, including information related to disaster and reconstruction and new information, but the section at the bottom of the old site with 32 keywords called "Important Notice from the Japan Tourism Agency" has been removed, and the appearance has been refreshed.
The person in charge of the General Affairs Division of the Japan Tourism Agency explained the background of this project, saying, "This year marks the 15th anniversary of the establishment of the Japan Tourism Agency, and this year marks the 15th anniversary of the establishment of the Japan Tourism Agency.
