In addition, in honor of the 60th anniversary, passengers who are 60 years old will receive a 60% discount (720 yen) on the fare between April 5 ~ 26. In addition, from April 1, the first 6,000 passengers on board the vehicle will receive an original box of tissues. In addition, commemorative stickers (300 yen), icing crackers (540 yen) limited to the first 300 bags, and a magnet gacha (300 yen per trip) of successive ships will be on sale, and there will be a chance to win goods that are not for sale.
Isewan Ferry was established in 1964 by Nagoya Railway and Japan Railway. Currently, it belongs to the Kato Kisen Group (Kobe City) and operates a route of about 60 minutes between Toba and Lake Irago. The ferry makes 8~9 round trips per day, making it an important means of transportation for tourists and residents. In the 2000s, while several routes were closed due to management problems, the current route was also notified to the government of its abolition, but the route was maintained by the current management and the acquisition of all shares by the local government.
