On Thursday, April 11, 2024, Kozushima Village, Tokyo, in cooperation with NTT Japan East, ANA X, ANA NEO, and TV Asahi, launched a project called the "Sustainable Tourism Loop Kozushima Model" and announced three new businesses centered on starry sky tourism.

In 2020, Kozushima was certified as a starry sky sanctuary "Dark Sky Island" by the International Dark Sky Association (USA). The island is taking advantage of this certification to promote tourism. The new project aims to work with private companies to spread the word about the island's charms and increase its fan base.

ANA Pocket has a tourist information corner on the island, making it easy for travelers to find sightseeing spots and restaurants on a map. In addition, it provides a check-in function that allows you to earn points that can be used for mileage gacha at specific spots.

With ANA GranWhale, users can virtually experience the best spots in Kozushima in autumn and winter, and then book a trip in person if they like.

TV Asahi is a reporter of " Hoshizora Tsunagaru Community to provide events and digital content that allow starry sky enthusiasts and businesses to interact with local residents. We plan to recruit participants in the future.
NTT East Japan, which has a regional partnership agreement with Kozushima Village, is in charge of overall coordination of this project, and is being promoted as part of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government's "Tokyo Takarajima Sustainable Island Creation Project." This project will be supported by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government to each municipality in the Tokyo Islands with 500 million yen, and will be implemented over a three-year period.
