Sightseeing bus "Nosappu-go" around the Nemuro Peninsula begins operation - Coastline rich in nature and the Northern Territories issue

The Nemuro Peninsula, located in the eastern part of Hokkaido, juts out into the Sea of Okhotsk and stretches 100 km from east to west. The "Nosappu-go" will operate until October 31 (Thursday) and depart from the Nemuro Station Bus Terminal. There are two routes, "Cape Nosappu" and "Kuraishi Furen Lake", and you will tour the nature of the coastline and facilities related to the Northern Territories issue with a guide.
The "Cape Nosapu Course" departs at 8:15 and takes 2 hours and 35 minutes. You will visit 4 places including Cape Nasabu, the easternmost point of Japan. The "Kuraishi Furen Lake Course" departs at 11:00 and takes 4 hours and 30 minutes. We will visit 5 places, including the natural monument Kurumaishi and the Four Northern Islands Exchange Center. There is also a one-lap course with a combined distance of about 100 km. Some of the contents of the roadside stations included in the course will be changed on closed days (Mondays).
The fare for the Cape Nosappu Course is 3,800 yen for adults and 1,900 yen for children. The "Kuraishi Furenko Course" is 3,600 yen for adults and 1,800 yen for children, and the one-lap course is 5,300 yen for adults and 2,650 yen for children. After arriving at JR Nemuro Station on the first train, the "Nosappu-go" goes around the Nemuro Peninsula and returns by JR again in the evening, or you can choose to use the bus between Kushiro and Nemuro.

The official name of the bus is "Nemuro Peninsula Circumference Northern Territories Issue Awareness Bus". The Nemuro City Tourism Association says, "We also want to provide an opportunity to think about the Northern Territories issue through bus tours."
