The sightseeing tour bus has been operated every year since the first year of Heisei. Nishigama Ward is located in the southwestern part of Niigata City and can be reached within 1 hour by train or car from the city center. There are plenty of sightseeing spots, including Iwamuro Onsen, which is said to be the back room of Niigata. If you take the sightseeing tour bus, you can get on and off at stops such as Iwamuro Onsen, wineries, sake breweries, day-trip hot springs, and Yahiko Shrine.
As for the operation schedule, the right-handed course departs from the tourist facility "Iwamuraya" ~ JR "Maki Station" turns around and returns to "Iwamuraya". The left-handed course departs from "Maki Station" ~ "Iwamuraya" and returns to "Maki Station". Each course runs twice a day (4 round trips in total).

The fare is 500 yen for a one-day free pass, 300 yen for one ride, half price for elementary school students, and free for preschoolers. Show your ticket at 30 stops on the route to receive a variety of benefits. You can purchase a free pass on the bus or at the reception desk of the tourist facility.
